It was coming up on midnight by the time Barty got out of the Black's place. His parents were still in there, but he had gotten an 'early' leave and jumped on the opportunity, even if it meant time with Koschei. He pulled out his phone and called Koschei, figuring he'd better check he even still wanted him to come over. He could also bring the booze tomorrow or some other time, after all.

Koschei had gotten bored around 8pm tonight, researched for three hours on the Black household and where it was based on a swift hacking of the schools records and some google earth action, then eventually decided to check it out. Never give a technological genius a reason to stalk. Koschei did't really have any better plans tonight, he just wanted to see what his competition looked like. Yes, Black was now an enemy, a rival, someone who was ruining his plans.

So when Barty rang his phone, the theme started playing about a few feet from him. And there, just down the road, inspecting their mailbox with a frown, was Koschei.

"...what the hell are you doing here?" Barty ended the call as he stared at Koschei, feeling just a tad freaked out. "Come on, let's go before anyone sees you. They have security guards and cameras and everything."

He headed to the mailbox and grabbed Koschei by one arm, pulling him along a few feet away from the mailbox.

"Are you mental?"

"Really don't care," Koschei called out with an amused grin, slapping away Barty's hand so he couldn't grip him any harder. He was busy getting to know the neighbourhood, he'd never been this far before and he didn't really care for all these fancy security systems. Someone felt like they needed protection. How sad. Koschei was sure he could probably take down their security system if he had a few hours and access to their control panel.

"I was bored, you took too long to get to mine. I thought I'd come find you. See where you were spending the night without me. Nice digs, very cute."

Then, playfully, he jerked free from Barty's hold and make a point to step back towards the mailbox. He wasn't leaving, not yet. Hence why he started peeking inside the box. "Do you think we could steal their mail from here? Though, from the looks, they just left the spam behind this morning. I can see something for a yacht. Ooh, fancy."

"Nah, you can't. It's rigged since my mother figured out I was intercepting mail." Sirius had come strolling out of the house quietly, grinning at Koschei because the boy amused him and then glancing at Barty. "Saw you take that whiskey, just so you know."

Barty's face was instantly a mask of innocence. "What whiskey?"

"Don't worry about it. I swipe booze all the time, mother just blames the help. Where are you two off to?"

Koschei levelled a glare at the other boy, already well aware of this one. So he'd made a mistake and actually thought this clown had some shame, sue him. He wasn't going to dwell on it any more, hence why the glare turned into a slightly amused smile. Eh, he was better than this, he didn't care much idiots who took pride in their own flaws. "Can I have your free yacht? I always fancied one."

Turning his head, he raised an eyebrow to Barty. Woah, he actually nabbed him a gift. Clever boy, he knew what he was doing. Perhaps a swim in the lake was definitely needed.

"My house, he's bored here," Koschei answered for him, already walking away himself. "Come on Barty, lets shake a leg."

"Sorry, Kosch. It's a friendship thing. On the first step of the ladder, I can swing a bike at max. Now, James is getting a private jet, seeing how you upgraded him to my lover."

Barty was looking at Sirius in confusion, then looked back at Koschei and started following him. He hadn't known the two know each other. Hell, Sirius barely talked to him.

"Have a fun night," Sirius called after them while checking his phone. He didn't hear how Barty hissed a 'What was that?' to Koschei.
