"I'm very interested in remodeling your face," Barty assured him, straightening up to better look down at Koschei. Fucking asshole. Fucking frustrating, sexy asshole. He pushed away from the lockers and walked down the hall, shaking his head.

"I'm not going to hold your hand in public. You're forgetting why we're doing all this bullshit in the first place." Running around holding hands with a boy wasn't really conductive to keeping the whole gay issue a secret. He shoved his hands in his pockets just in case. "But we can go to the park, sure."

"Don't be shy, you can just say we glued our hands together or something," Koschei mocked playfully, bouncing along after Barty. The boy may have had longer legs and naturally was capable of overtaking him but Koschei always seemed to move faster and become more animated when he knew he was under someone's skin. It was such fun. He never got to do things like this where he used to come from.

"Besides, you'd never hit me. Not even if I told daddy. You don't have the balls to hurt me," Koschei baited, not sure if that was entirely true. He was tempted to go tell the kids dad just to see if Barty did attack him. Now that would be sexy, he'd love to see that. Violence was fantastic foreplay. "It'd make for a dull evening."

Barty sent him a dark look, packing quite a lot of heat, then he quickly looked to the side before he ended up actually attacking him. He had himself under control, he could do that. Koschei had made him apologize to him once by forcing him to kneel and call him Master and while that might be an interesting thought as far as sexual fantasies went, it was mostly the most humiliating experience of his life and he hardly fancied doing it again.

"Maybe you'll find out one day," he said diplomatically, definitely keeping his hands in his pockets for oh so many reasons. "I'd not want to bore you."

"I do hope so," Koschei agreed legitimately. He loved a good fight, he loved being able to cause as much damage as he got. Maybe that was weird but that was just what Koschei was like, he got off on the strangest things. Hell, he almost came in his pants when Barty had called him Master. Koschei clearly had something wrong inside him but he didn't even seem to notice himself, lovely and deluded. "I look forward to the truly romantic day you reclaim your manhood and actually have the balls to stand up to me. Somewhere in the distant future, I'm sure."

The more he provoked, the closer he could getting an excuse to telling. Cause, honestly, it was going to be so much funnier to tell than it would be keeping this new friend of his. "What shall we do at the park, darling? Picnic? Romantic walk by a lake? Beat up that hobo that sleeps outside the maintenance shed?"

"You should look forward. It's going to be the lovely day you'll get your own balls stuffed in your mouth." Barty smiled sweetly, relatively happy that at least for the moment Koschei didn't seem to mind backtalk. It helped to let go of some of his frustration. He sighed and held the door open for Koschei before following him down the stairs and off school property.

"Romantic walk." Sounded like it might be over the fastest. "And please don't call me that." It wasn't as if he minded 'darling'. In fact, he could see himself using it if he ever found someone attractive that wasn't a complete and utter arse. But, really, he shouldn't complain. Park was nice and public, meaning the number of things Koschei could make him two was very limited.

"You'll never do it, you'll never touch me. I know men like you, talk big but never act out. Even if we weren't in this situation, I doubt you'd lash out," Koschei mocked playfully, heading out of the school. The sun was out but there was a horrible chill in the air. Koschei always saw style as more important that warmth so naturally, he didn't enjoy it.

"When we get to the park, I get your coat," Koschei demanded, hands in his pockets, walking happily along. It wasn't like anyone would care at the park, not many kids went there these days. Most had rightfully out grown it. "Why can't I call you darling? I think it's cute. What would be better? Honeybear? Cutie-pie? Sweetie?"

"We'll see." It was all Barty said, politely and with a smile and, to his credit, without a kick to Koschei's balls. He sighed and started unbuttoning his coat already, knowing that any argument would be useless. His mother would be so worried if she saw him out without a coat, but he wasn't anywhere near as fragile as she thought him, so the hell with it.

"Just..." It really wasn't worth it. "Call me whatever you want. I have no choice but to listen, anyway." He smiled suddenly, lifting his hand to wave to a boy looking their way. "Hey, Regulus."

"See you Saturday?"

"Afraid so."

"It won't be so bad. We can hide out in my room after a while."

"Don't make promises you can't keep. But alright. See you then!" Definitely in a better mood, Barty turned the corner, heading for the park across the street.

Koschei stared at Barty for a moment, a weird feeling of jealousy inside of him. He hated people who could just so casually make plans like that, laughing and joking. Barty should be doing that with him, not other people. Glaring, he turned to face ahead, trying to tell himself not to be petty. He was better than that.

-- Well, actually, no. He wasn't. Not at all.

"What are you doing Saturday?" It was asked with a slight sneer in his tone, obvious he wasn't happy at his new 'friend' having plans with someone as annoying as Regulus. He should be asking Koschei what he wanted to do on Saturday. He might of wanted to go out or something. Actually, you know what? He did.

"Cancel it. Whatever it is. You can come to mine instead."

"I can't, darling." Oh, yes, suddenly Barty was enjoying himself, smiling and everything. The nicknames were a lot more fun when turned around like that and used against him. "It's a society event. I have to be there as a family obligation. If I could get out of it, I would."

Barty shrugged and watched Koschei from the side. "But it's at the Black family's manor, so if all goes well after some time we can sneak off and play games, which is fun." He was enjoying this just a little too much, it was bound to come back to bite him some way or another, but right now it was just too good an opportunity. "Not bad to look at, either. Regulus."

Koschei huffed slightly, unsure how he could ruin this. His mind calculated through all the options he had until, finally, he smirked and nodded his head. Because he knew how to play this game. If he had to. "Okay, fine, you spend the evening with Regulus. I hope you have a great time."

Because he was going to make sure Barty regretted every word of this.

Though now he was curious if he could find a way to get into that event. His father had some sway and often got invited to these things. Maybe he could pull this off? Get in there and ruin it. And if he couldn't, he'd just tell Barty's dad he was fucking Regulus. Done and done.

"Would you fuck him? Regulus? Does he turn you on?" Koschei snorts in amusement. "He's quite a loser, isn't he?"

"Depends on your definition of loser. He's smart, really good at football and his family has enough money to buy England, twice." Barty shrugged, looking up at the sky. "But, no. I've known him since forever, pretty much. We grew up together, it'd just be weird. Not really my type, anyway."

For the most part that was true enough. For the other part he was trying to lead Koschei away from possibly making more of this than it was. "I can come see you on Sunday, if you like. Or Saturday night, if it's not too late." So his great moment of triumph was over for the moment, time for damage control. "Though I'll be all dressed up for that thing."

"He's a loser," Koschei insisted, not sounding angry just certain. Self delusion was a wonderful quality. "But that's your type, isn't it? Pathetic losers like him. Bet it turns you on, thinking about him, all dressed up smart for this weekend. Fucking him in such a fancy setting, really sticking it one to daddy."

The hint was there, the idea was planted. One wrong move, one excuse, and daddy would know all about his sons desires. Be they made up or not. Koschei could start a rumour and spread it like wildfire if he wanted. He may not of been well liked at school but he was well feared. People knew their place with him, they did as they were told. Just as he liked it. "But fine, you can come see me after if you must. You better bring me something nice from your party."

"Sure, Koschei. If you say that's my type, then I suppose it is." He sighed and ran a hand through his hair, that bit of good mood effectively ruined. The last thing Regulus needed was rumors about being gay. He already had a hard enough time with the whole thing with his brother. Even setting aside Barty's problem, that was definitely not how he wanted it to go.

"I can bring you something. What do you want?" He shrugged out of his coat as they reached the park, pocketing his phone from it to his trousers before holding the coat up for Koschei to put on. "So you don't want me making plans with anyone but you?"

"Booze, my parents have none. They don't drink," Koschei said with a hint of disapproval. He took the coat and slid it on, having to roll up the sleeves to make it work. He didn't really like the fact that Barty was bigger than him, it was a point of soreness. Barty was meant to be a victim, why did he get to tower over Koschei?

"Not really. I mean if you must then you must but you shouldn't need anyone else. You have me. Aren't I just the best company?" Koschei bragged playful, smirking at his latest servant. He loved when people just devoted themselves to him, it was a thing of pride to him. "Always check with me before you run off with someone else."

"Provide you with booze? Can do that, no problem." Barty eyed Koschei from the side, feeling a bit of an unsure feeling rising up inside him before shaking his head and staring straight ahead again. Once he graduated, once he could be independent from his parents without too big a fuzz, Koschei wouldn't have any influence on him anymore. Hell, his influence was pretty finite, now, given he couldn't exactly actually be around him 24/7, so no reason to get overly agitated. The bloke just had megalomaniac tendencies.

"Wouldn't it be easier if you just told me when you want me to be available and I can try to accommodate you?"

"Nothing cheap either, I want the good stuff," Koschei insisted, not wanting to be stuck with cheap gunk again. He asked that Malfoy boy to get him some once and got a shop brand wine for his efforts. The bottle had been promptly smashed and turned into a weapon to use against the smug little shit. Soon taught him not to play games with the new kid. "And I like whiskeys and scotches above all but I will settle for a good wine or a nice strong vodka."

Playfully, he looked at Barty and grinned, unable to believe he thought it could be that easy. "But Barty, if we make plans then that's too easy. No, you'll always be able to work around it. I prefer rudely interrupting your life and doing what I want with it."

"I'm going to be pillaging from the Black household. Their cheap stuff is probably still worth its weight in gold." Barty crossed his arms because it was getting a bit chilly, but obviously he'd not bring that up. He could just job home after, that was sure to warm him back up. "Whiskeys and scotches. I'll see what I can do. You'll probably be disappointed, but that's just your general disposition, so what's a poor bloke to do?"

He rolled his eyes, again, something he did a lot when in Koschei's company. "Of course. How silly of me." He would have said more, but as his phone vibrated he pulled it out to read the message he'd gotten, quickly texting a reply. "Is there really no one better you could force into spending time with you?"

"Whatever, I don't care, just make it drinkable and I won't be mad," He really wouldn't as long as the job was done and done well, he might even share it. His parents weren't drinkers and therefore he rarely got a chance himself. Father always said that drinking was what idiots did. Which was ironic considering that he was the biggest idiot Koschei knew.

When Barty started to text, Koschei side-eyed him, clearly unhappy. Why was Barty doing this to him? Baiting him? In annoyance, he swiftly slapped the phone out of his hand out of petty revenge, tempted to stomp on it. "I'm sorry, am I boring you? Can you not focus on me for five minutes. Stop dicking me about or I'll just go straight to daddy. Got me?"

"...right. Sorry. I wasn't thinking." He hadn't been, really. Barty had never been one to particularly enjoy the company of other people most of the time, but every now and then before the whole mess with Koschei started he'd still hung out with friends and the weird vibe aside, there were times it didn't feel that different with Koschei. Texting wouldn't be a problem then. Barty stopped walking and wet his lips.

"May I pick up my phone? I'll turn it off. It was just my mother." He should have been more careful. The teasing with Koschei felt almost normal at times, easy to forget what a dick this guy really was, how easily he could ruin his life. How he was using and abusing him, really. "Please."

With a slightly deflated sigh, Koschei shrugged and gestured for him to pick it up, suddenly feeling a bit stupid for over-reacting. It was just annoying. Here he was, bored and alone with no one interesting to amuse him. And his only company wanted to be with everyone but him. He guessed his mom was right after all, you can't force people to be your friends, you have to win them over.

But that was a lot of effort and he wasn't that sort of person. Maybe he'd just never have friends? Servants and slaves worked fine for him. He could make them like him. "Come on, keep up, I want to get to the lake while the sun is out."

Barty quickly picked up his phone and turned it off, as promised, before pocketing it. He walked next to Koschei, not really having any trouble keeping up. Longer legs and all that. He wasn't sure how to keep Koschei entertained now, but given that it was really quite cold, the park was practically abandoned, so in a moment of daring he reached for Koschei's hand and did indeed walk with him, holding hands.

"There used to be lots of ducks in the lake when I was little, but I guess they got rid of them or something. Or I just haven't seen them in a while."

Koschei stared for a while, not overly sure which emotion to pick to feel right now. He settled for smug, happily holding Barty's hand and secretly hoping no one saw. That would destroy his plans and prevent Barty from playing with him. And he couldn't have that, could he? "They don't 'get rid' of ducks. They probably just died of the cold during the winter and were skilfully removed."

Then, with a slight tilt of his head, he eyed the lake in interest. Maybe they could find the lake some ducks? Could be doable. "Or they could of starved to death. Everyone feeds them in summer, no one bothers in the winter."

"Could be. Don't really know, just remembered now. That was a long time before you got here when I actually paid attention to ducks. Some time when I was shorter than you. Probably pre-school." Alright, he apparently couldn't quite cut it out. But he was walking hands in hands with the bloke around the lake, that ought to be worth some teasing.

"But your talk of dead ducks really upped the romantic of the moment. God-given talent, that."

"I'm not that short," Koschei insisted, he was just shorter than the average bloke. Didn't mean anything, it wasn't a statement about him just poor genetics. He blamed his mother, she was only five foot. "You're just some weird lanky yeti thing. Not my problem that you tower over everyone."

Rolling his eyes, he playfully grinned at Barty, taking the insults in his stride. Because the less annoyed he was, the more it pissed everyone else off. "Hey, ducks aren't exactly romantic creatures to discuss in the first place. The male ones hold the female ones heads under the water to assert dominance... huh, you know what, actually a little romantic."

See that smile he's wearing? Not a smile of a well adjusted young man.

"Think we're both normal-sized. Just on different ends of the spectrum. Don't worry, it's adorable." His voice was perfectly bland as he said it, but he was still walking with the only person in the world that knew he was gay around a lake holding hands, so it might still qualify as the most romantic compliment he'd ever given.

He glanced at Koschei from the side and raised his eyebrows before snorting and shaking his head. "Remind me to warn your future girlfriend, just in case." Oh, he did see the smile and it freaked him out just a little and thrilled him in a way it really shouldn't, so he tried to ignore it as much as possible.
